THE WARRANTY IS ISSUED DIRECTLY BY THE MANUFACTURER, AND MIRAGE MIRROR AND GLASS IS UNABLE TO MODIFY THIS WARRANTY IN ANY MANNER OUTSIDE OF THE MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY POLICY.

Brass is a pristine metal alloy made primarily of copper and zinc. It has a wide range of applications due to its excellent workability, corrosion resistance, and antibacterial properties. Although durable, brass is prone to tarnishing due to oxidation. Oxidation is a natural process caused by the metal’s exposure to oxygen. It begins to give brass a dark and dull look just days after it is manufactured, regardless of how it is stored or packaged.
CRL does not guarantee that satin or polished brass finishes will remain free of tarnish or corrosion for the life of the product.
Recommended Care & Maintenance:
The best way to remove mild tarnish on brass is with a metal restoration polish. Apply it like you would a wax, let it dry, and rub repeatedly with a soft cloth or pad until the tarnish is gone. Rebushing also works on satin brass finishes.
